ok, I know it has been over a month since I last posted. Seems being a full time Designer/Fabulous Mommy has slowed me down. This past month was really busy with my daughters end of school functions...seems being a two year old these days is somewhat-shall I say crazy compared to the days when I grew up. We planned/celebrated her birthday party, end of school party, and a party for teacher appreciation luncheon...which I chaired the event, and that is what has been kepping me busy this past month. But, I still have had time to scour the internet for cute things....so, I will give you a break down of what I have found in the past weeks...

Mommy Podcast

Since I have been starting to use my i-phone more and more, I realized I could enjoy it even better if I started to download podcast to my phone. So, after searching thru all the wonderful podcast at itunes, I finally found the mommy podcast...which I think are the best. My favorite is Mommy Uncensored, Role Mommy, Mighty Mommy and Manic Mommies. I have already gotten one of my mommy-friends to purchase an ipod and start downloading. I love listening to them while I work, drive and even grocery shop!! If you have an ipod and want something great to listen to and learn about your toddlers eating habits....download ya some podcast and enjoy.

One thing that has gotten this mommy to stop and ponder....maybe Mommy Ranch should do her own podcast? We shall see if we can fit that in our busy schedule...so stay tuned!!!

I have to say, I have a hard time putting it down at night. I love the funny whit and the tell-it-like-it is humor. I realize it has been a month since my latest blog and I have to say time has flown by...I have been working on gathering Christmas presents, working on Christmas parties, and Christmas shopping. In the midst of my whirl wind month, I had a major problem happen....my cell phone died...yep...right in the middle of Target! Well, I did the one thing any mom would do...finished my shopping (ha) and ran to AT&T to get a i-phone.

I have been hearing all the other "mommies" out there rant and rave about this phone and I finally had a good reason to spend the moo-lah on one. Now, you are wondering what my opinion on this gadget is...well let me tell you something...I am an old-fashioned mommie...who was raised on a farm and now lives on a ranch out in the middle of East Texas...I am no city slicker- high tech mommie- that runs out an buys the latest and greatest. I have researched this phone and I have been keeping tabs on my friends that have i-phones and I have to say...I LOVE THIS PHONE!! I never in a million years would of have thought I would like this thing...I really like the fact it has all the bells and whistles I thought I would never use! My favorite thing by far is the ability to use this phone with such ease. I do not own an MP3 player, a blackberry, or laptop. But, I do now!! I really like the VM feature which can let you choose what VM you want to listen to!!!
All in all..I have to say this was a great purchase for me and if you are thinking about purchasing one....go for it!!

Wow, did not know how much I needed this little timer. It has come in so handy in helping me remember when to dispense medication for my daughter. I read about this in one of my favorite mommy blogs and filed it away and after seeing it in a parenting website, I thought I should give it a try.

Who could imagine something so small could be so cute. When you hit this site, you will be amazed of all the darling little hair clips you can purchase for your sweetie. My husband thinks I have gone crazy but, then don't they all think that when you have children. Anyway, I love all the seasonal hair clips you can choose from. Now that momma (myself) has a new ride, I want like to keep the sweet new smell of my leather seats. I searched and searched google for something that will work on my new Yukon XL. After no luck on the internet... All I had to do was look in my mail box. One Step Ahead catalog had what I was looking for. I checked the website and found the seat cover. I then read the comments from past buyers. Everyone believed it was a great deal. So, from there I purchased the seat cover. It works really well for me...kind short on the seat side..but, it does its job. For those of you who live in the country and have to travel 30 minutes or more to civilization, you will appreciate this product. I usually have to give my daughter a drink and a snack as we are heading out and know I do not have to worry if the drink is dribbling on the leather seats. It is made of soft, durable, non-pilling poly fleece that feels fabulous and holds up to wear and tear. Longer and wider, so it fits better, too. And to keep it in place: a stay-put skirt, tuck-under flaps, and adjustable headrest straps with quick-release buckles. With a water-resistant, non-skid lining, plus a handy mesh pocket. I guess when you wish hard and hope. Your dreams do come true!! Here's one product that leaves less of a mess and can't get thrown down: the OnTray. Designed by a Mom, it's a tray that snaps onto the average-sized shopping cart handle. You can use it for snacks while you're grocery shopping - snap it onto the handle and put a couple snacks inside; it's that simple. You can adjust the top so only a small part of it is exposed if you don't want baby to have access to everything at once.

Since I have been knee deep in teething this summer and fighting with diaper rash. I have searched the earth for a type of diaper rash cream that will help my darling child's bum! What a great invention!! This cute little diaper and wipee tote comes in very handy when you want to travel with out the large diaper bag...just load up and slip into your purse! I recently got mine in the mail and have been in love ever since. I got the "Jack", I love the lime green and Turquoise along with the choc. brown basket! This invention has made my life so much easier and I also keep the caddie in our room, just for those moments when you have your little one in bed with you and you are both to tired to go to the nursery to change diapers. They offer business like card for Moms, which makes sense..you can pass out when meeting new moms for playdates or hand to your daycare provider. What ever you choose to do with them is up to you. I think they are a great invention from one mom to another. You can go to the site, select your flavor and fill out the fields to have what ever you want on the back and front.
